Frog Tree Yarns was a not-for-profit company that helped talented artisans/workers receive well-deserved, reasonable compensation for their efforts and promoted fair trade. Their funds were used to support educational and environmental projects, charitable organizations and volunteer groups in Latin America.
The owners of Frog Tree Yarns retired in 2015 and the company was closed. Several of their yarns were taken over by Hikoo yarns, but not this one. We closed our shop around the same time and have many of our yarns here and elsewhere online; for some reason, this one hasn't been listed until now so we still have it available in adequate quantities for many of your projects.
Frog Tree Merino Melange is a super soft yarn with a luxurious soft hand that's like knitting with butter. This worsted weight yarn is 100% merino wool and would make warm, cozy sweaters, hats & accessories. It is also an excellent choice for felted projects.
This yarn differs from Frog Tree Merino Worsted in that it is a 2-ply yarn. Frog Tree Merino (not Melange) is a single ply yarn.

Hand Wash, Dry Flat. Safer to wash with a Wool Wash product. Not a "washable" wool. This will shrink under the right circumstances.
